Does the Matrix have you? (E15)

Luke Fenwick and Sean Oldham bring you episode 15 of podcast series Conversation for a better tomorrow.

Matrix 4 is out this Christmas 2021!

However back in 1999, the original Matrix a science fiction action film, starring Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss burst onto our screens with cult status. It depicts a dystopian future in which humanity is unknowingly trapped inside a simulated reality, the Matrix, which intelligent machines have created to distract humans while using their bodies as an energy source. When computer programmer Thomas Anderson, under the hacker alias "Neo", uncovers the truth, he "is drawn into a rebellion against the machines" along with other people who have been freed from the Matrix.

A movie that shaped reality or eerie coincidence on many levels.
So many hidden meanings, secret codes to decipher.
The show isn’t about conspiracy theories of a global group controlling our every move. Red or blue pills.

Reading online the theories about the movie include religion and spirituality, sexuality, numerology, Alan Watts was talking about it back in the 70s and the works of Plato's Allegory of the Cave, it is exhausting and my mind hurts.

And then really, it is all about the situation that many humans face now and that is too much time in a digital world, not engaging with this gift which is life.

How much is art imitating life here?
